    Link previewer, potentially with help from Stimulus.
    Imagine some kind of chat application, when pasting a URL, it should return inline a preview of the link including a screenshot of the page

  8. Re-creating Rails from Scratch

    You mentioned in one of your videos some time ago possibly re-creating Rails from scratch (I assume a smaller subset of course). I feel this would really help me get a better understanding of how Rails works, and teach my co-workers about it.

    It would be great to get a course on best practices for managing database data. I've read the heroku db backups but i feel like I need a better understanding of where I should keep these backups and how to keep dev / production data in sync.

  20. Real-world overview of Stimulus JS framework

    Hi Chris! I would love to see a detailed or practical "real-world" overview of the Stimulus mini-framework that Rails is putting out. I see the "hello world" examples but I don't really get what the power/benefit of Stimulus is.

    I know you've been doing some episodes on Vue.js, but most of my apps won't use Vue and I like to reduce external dependencies as much as possible. If I can achieve data syncing on the client-side using Stimulus instead of an entire framework, that would be pretty cool!
